John Rosique170 viewsThese are the toys that I had in my room in Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam. I only have the turntable and speakers today. I built the cabinet our of scrap 3/4" plywood. I also had a refrigerator in my room. I kept sodas for anyone willing to pay 15ยข for a soda. I did not always have it this good in Vietnam. My first three months were on an Army Base, Qui Nhon. The water was yellow and smelled bad. I had to sleep with my M16 and in a mosquito net.

John Rosique164 viewsMy room is the one that has the pushed in wall. I was standing there 30 seconds before the roof from the barracks next door blew off and hit my room. This was four weeks before I left Vietnam.

John Rosique292 views"SHORT" timer - 28 days to go - Cam Ranh Bay Vietnam - USAF
Notice the Short timer's ribbon. The ribbon came from a liquor bottle that a friend of mine drank for me since I do not drink.
