Screw the age - we all know how old we are??
This is great!!Thanks to those who have made this web page possible. It was so much fun reading the guest book - hope more Lancers contribute. I cannot believe that I will be attending my baby's graduation in June 2004 - 40 years after my own. (I can still remember the morning we were practicing for graduation, it was sprinkling rain- good old California June weather.) I guess it's better than the alternative. Thanks Janice for keeping in touch.

Been married 10 years to a great guy, Sam, and am presently still working and very healthy. Have no children, but have an MBA, etc. Retired from the military (as a Major) in 1995. Have moved into parent's house on Del Amo, after major remodeling. Still love Lakewood and wouldn't live anywhere else. Hope someone sees this and e-mails me to say "Hi."

I should of graduated from Lakewood,in 64. Seems I was having more fun with my social life. Lakewood seem to have this policy of three "F's" and your out. So out into the big world I went. Did eventally go and finish my education and got a degree in science.Remember Mr. Flood,(puddles) he'd drop dead if he knew. Never used my degree as having children, four to be exact, was my goal in life. Too many times in the back seat of a car, I guess. Of all the things I've leaned in life, don't loose your sense of humor. I have't.

Great webpage. 1964 was a great year! I have been busy raising two sons
and now have a 5 year old granddaughter. Was telling my youngest
son (24 yrs) about things when I was in high school tonight.
I am working with him at First Class Pizza, Placentia, which he
owns...If you get over that way stop in. I'm there for Monday
lunch or Friday dinner. Having lots of fun.
It seems like only yesterday when we were all in school together.
Hopefully, I'll make it to the 40th reunion and see some of
you again.

I just posted a great picture of a bunch of us from 6th grade at the Call's Dance Studio. Go to "http://homepage.mac.com/stevelyons" and select "Steve Album" to see it. You can also navigate to it from "slyons.com" by clicking on the links at the bottom.

Greetings Class of '64. I don't recognize very many names, but with over 1000 graduates (and my adolescent shyness) that's not surprising. I now teach math at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, but my main interest is swing dancing. You can see me and a couple of hundred other "swing fiends" every
Wednesday night at Club 705 in Hermosa Beach. Stop on by if you're ever in the area. Peace and good health to everyone.

I always think of the high schools days we shared, it was such a great time to be young! I did not graduate with the '64 class as I had dropped out in my senior year but I did finish the next year at night school. I currently live in Buena Park and work in Cerritos as a Quality Manager for an aerospace machine shop. I have a son and two daughters of which I am very proud. I have never attended a reunion or kept in touch with very many old friends so it's great to do so now.

37 years??? I didn't think I'd live this long! All is well. I'm married to a great guy, no kids, lots of animals, and working for a living, like the rest of us. Where will I be in 10 years? Retired in the mountains of Colorado. BTW to anyone out there........I've been trying to locate Steve Powell, he graduated in 1965 was in Chi Sigma. If anyone knows of his whereabouts, I'd appreciate an update.

Viewed the photos of 35th reunion and wondered who all these old folks were. I have not been in the country during any of our previous reunions but plan to attend #40. Retired GTE in '89, went into software engineering and still pursuing same in Western Washington. New grandfather looking to retire again in a few years as soon as 15 year old daughter completes college. Dedicated to keeping guys like me away from daughters.
