Mike Moffet
|
Retired from the Marine Corps in 1970 due to wounds received in Vietnam. Mike and his wife just celebrated their 32nd anniversary on May 3rd, 2006. They have 5 children, 15 living grandchildren (2 deceased), 9 great-grandchildren (#10 due 7/06). He was forced to retire due to health in 2000. Considered totally disabled by the VA. Spent his years in shift management of Slot Departments in Nevada, both Reno (where he met his wife as he was her boss) and Vegas. He was at the MGM fire in 1980. He began in this industry while attending college to work in the Crime Lab as his wounds kept him from being a sworn officer. He had more fun in gaming, so he stayed.
